Of course you can stay in St. Wendel town. In the Cafe - Restaurant Le Journal alone, guests sometimes spend several hours a day. If that's not enough for you, you can lace up your boots and really work up an appetite on one of the five-star premium hiking trails.

When the weather is nice, a visit to the Bostalsee is a "must". With its own beach, it offers everything you need for swimming pleasure.

The golfers among you will find the 5-star superior Wendelinus Golfpark only 3 kilometres away with 27 holes, which you can play in three combinations. A real challenge! Boring, kids? Okay. How about a treetop trail, Rocklands climbing hall or skate park?

If that's too hectic for you, book yourself in with young and old at the Robinson Wellfit Club, with sauna and wellness or just to relax.

But St. Wendel has also become famous for its events. There is a wide range of sporting events: ADAC Saarland Rallye, Supermoto Run for the German Championship, Marathon, European Mountain Bike Championships and more. In addition, St.Wendel hosts the annual Easter and Christmas markets, which are popular beyond its borders. (You should book early for these events, as we are usually fully booked). This is just a small list of the many possibilities.

Of course we also understand if you stay in your room because you like it that way. However, we have an addition to this: you let yourself be spoilt in Le Journal Cafe Restaurant. Good idea? ;-)
